Founded by Jorge Serôdio Borges and Sandra Tavares da Silva, two of Portugal's most celebrated winemakers, Wine & Soul was born from passion and their shared dream to showcase the Douro's ancient vineyard heritage. Their Pintas Vintage Port comes from 90-year-old vines in the prestigious Pinhão Valley, representing the pure soul of this historic wine region. This remarkable Port embodies the couple's devotion to traditional winemaking and the extraordinary terroir of their high-altitude Vale de Mendiz estate.

Tasting Notes

Intensely powerful and concentrated, this vintage Port reveals dark plum, mint chocolate, and blackcurrant fruit wrapped in full, grippy tannins. Aromas of blackberries, coffee, black olives, and wet earth emerge from the glass, while the palate shows sweet viscous texture with hints of dried herbs and spices. The finish is muscular and brooding, with notes of Turkish coffee and ganache supported by warm earth undertones. This backward style Port shows tremendous aging potential and complexity.
