In 1993, Archery Summit set its sights on creating wines of real purpose in the Willamette Valley. Since then, the Dundee Hills winery has helped establish the region as the cradle of cooler-climate American wine. Winemaker Kim Abrahams and her team achieve bar-raising wines through hard-won instincts—the familiarity gained from many shared vintages and from tending vineyard sites they know intimately. Vireton by Archery Summit offers a broad-view of the Willamette Valley through a combination of Pinot Gris sourced from both their Eola-Amity and Dundee Hills vineyards.

Tasting Notes

The 2024 Vireton Pinot Gris is a beautifully expressive and vibrant wine. It opens with intense aromatics of lychee, dried stone fruits, and a delicate hint of cardamom. On the palate, juicy acidity takes center stage, seamlessly balanced by subtle pear skin phenolics, adding depth and texture. Expressive and refreshing, with brisk accents of melon, pear and lemon blossoms that gather richness on the finish.
