Created by the Zuccardi family in honor of Julia Zuccardi, Bodega Santa Julia has been crafting wines for over 60 years with an unwavering commitment to sustainability and natural winemaking. This is the inaugural vintage of their organic La Vaquita Natural wine, made from organically grown grapes and fermented with indigenous yeasts. Santa Julia is Argentina's largest producer of organic grapes with 988 acres of certified organic vineyards, setting a benchmark for sustainable viticulture in Mendoza.

Tasting Notes

This pale-colored clarete reveals an aromatic bouquet of violets and orange blossom from both grape varieties. The palate is fine-boned, light and fresh yet substantial, offering tasty, clean flavors with a velvety mouthfeel and fine tannins. On the nose, savory plums, cherries, peaches and pomegranate emerge. This light wine sits halfway between a red and rosé, with floral aromas, sweet red-fruit flavors, and subtle earthy notes that add complexity to its fluid, smooth character.
