Pewsey Vale, Dry Riesling 2024 Eden Valley, Australia

Pewsey Vale was the first Riesling vineyard planted in Eden Valley more than 175 years ago, with a singular focus on Riesling that remains unwavering. Sitting at nearly 500 metres altitude, the cooler temperatures encourage a longer ripening period essential for producing superior Riesling grapes. This iconic estate delivers consistent flavour and quality from vintage to vintage, with approachable, soft natural acidity iconic to Eden Valley.

Tasting Notes

Pale straw with green hues in colour, with intense aromas that suggest white flowers, fresh limes and a hint of fine dried herbs. The palate is long and rich, reminiscent of limes flavours and fresh rosemary, finishing with a soft natural acidity which balances the flavour intensity and a minerality. Zesty and bright with lime, green apple, and slate, this dry Riesling delivers precision, floral aromatics, and a long, clean finish with great structure. Breathtakingly pure and energetic with a linear drive of focused lime fruit and a fine bead of sherbet zest acidity. Very long, concentrated and juicy.
