Pepe Mendoza is one of the most talented and recognized winemakers in Spain. He started at a young age helping his father, the founder of the prestigious Grandes Pagos inducted Bodegas Enrique Mendoza in Alicante. Casa Agricola is Pepe Mendoza's dream in the making. After more than 25 years of experience making wine, developing and understanding the soils, varieties and climate of Alicante, the time was ripe to start on his most personal endeavor, teaming up with his wife Pepa Agulló Llorca and their children. This artisanal white represents his dedication to expressing the Mediterranean terroir through native varieties.

Tasting Notes

It's a flowing wine, mid weight, smelling of fennel pollen, dandelion, wild field herbs, camomile. Sapid, saline, with granite-like acidity, nettle astringency, stones, artichoke and pollen through and through. Aromas of jasmine, citrus notes of lime and orange peel. Beautiful aromas of Mediterranean infusions. On the palate, it is crisp and lively, offering flavors of ripe pear, green apple, and a hint of saline minerality that lingers on the finish.
