Pascal Clément launched his micro-négoçiant project in 2012 after twenty years of experience, including work at the legendary Domaine Coche-Dury. Based in Savigny-les-Beaune, he crafts wines in a historic 1850s building with a magnificent arched cellar housing 200 barrels. From Rully's rocky, stony soils in the northern Côte Chalonnaise, this classical yet complex Chardonnay reflects his minimal-intervention philosophy and respect for terroir.
Tasting Notes
From Rully's rocky, cool soils, this youthful wine shows struck stone minerality, lemon curd, and subtle white blossoms like honeysuckle and acacia coursing along a generous palate. The minerality ranges from smoky flint to wet river rocks, with green apple acidity brightening the texture. Fine spice brackets the palate with ample stony salinity and a lick of flint on the finish.
