Miles, Madeira "Rainwater" Portugal

Established in 1814 as Rutherford & Grant, Miles Madeira has become one of the oldest and most respected Madeira brands worldwide. Today, Miles is part of the Blandy family's Madeira Wine Company and is synonymous with excellent Madeira wine made from the Tinta Negra grape variety on the rich and diverse terroirs of this volcanic island. This Rainwater style represents a lighter, more refreshing expression of Madeira's fortified wine tradition.

Tasting Notes

Topaz color with golden reflections. Characteristic Madeira bouquet of dried fruits, orange peels and notes of wood. Medium dry at first, followed by an attractive freshness of citrus flavors, with a long, luxurious finish. Fresh and fruity edition showing red cherry, caramel, sea kelp and orange peel notes alongside shades of bergamot and a lengthy finish. Nutty and red fruit-driven.
