Crafted by legendary winemaker Heidi Peterson Barrett, known as 'The First Lady of Wine' for her work with Screaming Eagle and other cult labels. La Sirena was founded in 1994 as Barrett's personal expression of elegance and balance, combining her scientific background with artisanal passion. This Chardonnay showcases the pristine fruit character and minerality that define her winemaking philosophy.

Tasting Notes

Pale lemon yellow with classic Chardonnay aromas of green apple, citrus, pomelo, and a kiss of light French oak. The silky, rich texture carries subtle layers of tropical pineapple, stone fruits, and a delicate touch of crème brûlée. Beautiful purity of aromas and flavors reflecting each other, with a nice round mouthfeel without heaviness. The crisp, mouthwatering acidity balances the lushness on the palate, while minerality from the rocky hillside vineyard comes through with a flinty note reminiscent of Chablis.
