This exceptional collaboration between the Hyde family of legendary Hyde Vineyard and Aubert de Villaine of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti represents where Old World finesse meets New World exuberance. The Ygnacia is crafted from seven heritage Pinot Noir clones planted exclusively for this project, showcasing the remarkable energy and concentration of the Carneros terroir with minimal intervention winemaking.
Tasting Notes
Aromas of crushed red and purple berries burst from the glass with intoxicating notes of violet, lavender, rose petal, and orange zest. The palate reveals blood orange, damson plum, and bitter cherry flavors backed by singed clove, red tea, and mineral undertones. Medium to full-bodied with ultra-fine, silky tannins and tremendous presence, the wine finishes with youthful grip and remarkable length, showing both power and elegance.
