The Lurton brothers established this biodynamic estate in the prestigious Lolol Valley, deliberately chosen for its ideal granite schist soils and cooler climate within Colchagua. The "L'Atelier" range represents their workshop for challenging, ecological small-scale wines that break preconceptions and explore new oenological horizons. The signature morning mist known as "Humo Blanco" (white smoke) naturally defines the vineyard boundaries and creates the perfect environment for this innovative co-fermentation.
Tasting Notes
Plenty of fresh herbs complement sweet cherry fruit, with flowers and white pepper adding complexity. The palate is quite tangy with pure, juicy fruit that remains vibrant, pristine and juicy throughout. This delicate co-fermentation allows the Syrah to contribute color and roundness while the Viognier provides tannins and aromatic precursors, preserving the elegance of the blend. The wine is oak-free, allowing the pure expression of fruit to shine.
