Hanna is Walter Glatzer's daughter, and after initially studying pre-law, she discovered her true passion for winemaking and transferred to the prestigious Geisenheim wine school in Germany. She crafts natural wines from her family's certified organic vineyards, bringing a fresh perspective to this historic Austrian region. The Carnuntum DAC region boasts a winemaking tradition dating back over 2000 years to Roman times, and Hanna honors this legacy while expressing her own modern, natural style.
Tasting Notes
Lovely nose of strawberry and rose petal, with clean, delicious flavors of strawberries, cherries, and spice. Very light on its feet at only 12.5% alcohol, this wine is raised in large 2000-liter old French barrels for eight months, then bottled without filtration. Careful extraction yields summer berry flavours that are pure, fresh and bursting with sun-kissed strawberries. The finish maintains the wine's elegant, weightless character with gentle spice notes.
Pairs With
Roasted duck breast, grilled salmon with herbs, mushroom risotto, soft goat cheese
