Named after Bart Araujo's grandmother, Altagracia represents the eastern parcels of the legendary Eisele Vineyard in Calistoga. Under the stewardship of Groupe Artémis (owners of Château Latour), this historic estate practices biodynamic farming on volcanic hillside parcels. Altagracia offers an approachable expression of one of Napa's most revered sites.

Tasting Notes

Deep ruby in color with impressive viscosity. The nose reveals dark currants, red plums, toasted spices, new leather, dried tobacco, blueberries, pine, and bark aromas with sweet tobacco notes. Medium to full-bodied on the palate with classic Napa Valley fruit character, well-framed tannins that are ripe yet structured, beautiful balance, and a great finish. The wine shows both power and elegance with a crunchy, juicy texture.
