For four generations, the Rollin family has cultivated their 14-hectare domaine with meticulous attention to terroir, now under the capable hands of Simon and Caroline Rollin. This Premier Cru comes from the well-positioned Sous Frétille vineyard, situated at high altitude on the hill of Corton, where limestone-rich soils impart distinctive minerality. Their traditional approach combined with modern precision results in wines that beautifully express their unique terroir.
Tasting Notes
This Premier Cru develops a nose that is rich, generous and complex, showcasing the vineyard's limestone character. On the palate, aromas of white peach and exotic notes create a lovely balance between power and finesse. The high altitude of the vineyard imparts fresh minerality and crisp acidity, while careful use of oak smooths the wine's firm edge. There is great aging potential - ideally leave for at least two years to fully blossom.
