For four generations, the Rollin family has been cultivating vines across fourteen appellations in Burgundy, with their legacy continuing under Simon and Caroline's masterful direction. This Grand Cru represents one of the keystone white Burgundies from the estate—a wine that never fails to dazzle and consistently showcases the family's meticulous approach to terroir expression. Crafted through natural fermentation in oak barrels with 50% new oak and aged on lees for 11-13 months, it exemplifies the harmony between tradition and precision.
Tasting Notes
This Grand Cru develops heady aromas of white flowers, concentrated fruits confits and some spicy notes. The wine displays elegant stony minerality with subtle Amalfi lemon, pomelo and wild herb aromas, showcasing both freshness and purity. Despite being medium-bodied, it offers excellent concentration with a finish that extends for several minutes. The wine comes from two parcels totaling 0.4 hectares at the top of the Corton hill on south and west-facing slopes of this legendary Grand Cru.
