For four generations, the Rollin family has been cultivating vines in the heart of Burgundy, with Rémi and his son Simon representing the third and fourth generation respectively to make wine in the village of Pernand-Vergelesses. Their vineyard work is meticulous with a methodology designed to maximize terroir expression, harvesting manually with indigenous yeasts. The Aligoté is raised in stainless steel tanks and aged on fine lees for twelve to fifteen months.
Tasting Notes
A bold and ripe style of aligoté with plenty of fresh grapefruit and pomelo character, where lively acidity easily balances the generosity of the medium-bodied palate with a bright, citrus zest finish that's really long for this appellation. It is a clean-cut, straightforward wine that develops fresh and elegant fruit, supported by great vivacity, offering immediate pleasure with its notes of white flowers. A lovely balance between roundness and freshness.
Pairs With
