Domaine Mann 'Happy Lemon' Riesling 2023 Alsace, France

The Domaine Mann sits in the picturesque commune of Eguisheim in Alsace, run by Jean-Louis and Fabienne Mann with their son Sébastien, who joined after gaining experience in the world's great wine regions. The estate manages 12 hectares of certified biodynamic vineyards, including two Grand Cru sites, Pfersigberg and Eichberg, with grapes harvested manually and sorted at the vine. This small family producer has earned recognition in the natural wine community for their pure, terroir-driven expressions.

Happy Lemon delivers Alsatian vibrancy par excellence—a juicy and ultra-vivacious Riesling bursting with citrus energy. The wine is lean and muscular yet expressive, offering hints of sweetness balanced by apple, lemon and mineral notes, with firm acidity providing structure through a persistent long finish. Pristine and mineral-driven, it's bone-dry and intensely lemony with firm structure and electric acidity, finishing like a Meyer lemon—bright but not harsh. The wine is racy, complex and fruity, evolving on vibrant lemony aromas.
