In 2012, the Brotons family left their jeweling careers to fulfill their dream of winemaking in the heart of Provence Verte. This 15-hectare biodynamic estate is surrounded by pine and oak forests near the Gorges du Verdon, where century-old vines grow in clay-limestone soils with remarkable thermal amplitude. With guidance from renowned oenologist Daniel Abrial, formerly of Domaine du Tempier, they craft wines that honor Provence's ancient terroir with meticulous, natural methods.
Tasting Notes
This rare Côtes de Provence rouge reveals medium-intensity aromas of ripe red cherries, wild raspberries, and black pepper with subtle hints of game and garrigue herbs. The palate shows more intensity with bright strawberries and red cherries complemented by wood tones and orange peel accents. Medium-bodied with elegant tannins and fresh acidity, it finishes with silky texture and mineral precision.
Food Pairings
Lamb with herbes de Provence, wild boar stew, grilled duck breast, aged sheep's cheese
