A project by the Ruiz Cantú family (producers behind Juguette and Dominio de las Abejas), Charles Martinez was created to showcase the exceptional quality of the Ojos Negros region. This wine is a heartfelt tribute to the matriarchal lineage of the family - their mothers, grandmothers, and great-grandmothers - whose legacy of strength and grace is honored in every bottle. Crafted from certified organic CCOF grapes in a cooler, water-abundant valley that offers a distinctly different terroir from traditional Baja regions.

Tasting Notes

A vibrant bouquet of fresh raspberries and ripe plums gracefully interwoven with delicate notes of vanilla and subtle toast from 12 months aging in American oak. A whisper of warm spice adds an intriguing layer of aromatic complexity. The blend showcases the cooler climate of Ojos Negros with fresh acidity balancing rich dark fruit flavors.
