Chamisal Vineyards was the first to plant vineyards in the Edna Valley in 1973, nestled five miles inland from the Pacific Ocean. Tasting Notes
The 2022 shines with vibrant aromas of red cherry, spiced plum, and rose petal accented by hints of fig and anise. Rich yet balanced, it offers layers of cherry pie and strawberry preserves framed by fine tannins and lively acidity. On the nose, expect high toned red cherries, red raspberries, ripe watermelon, hibiscus, red flowers, wild herbs, mushroom, and forest floor with hints of vanilla. The palate mirrors these aromas with additional notes of tobacco and strawberry. This coastal Pinot Noir captures the freshness and signature spice of California's Central Coast.
