From the volcanic slopes of Mount Vesuvius, Casa Setaro represents four generations of family winemaking on ungrafted vines within the National Park. This Mediterranean Falanghina is born at the foot of Europe's only active volcano, where mineral-rich volcanic soils and ancient viticultural traditions create wines of extraordinary character and sense of place.
Tasting Notes
Bright straw yellow in the glass with floral and fruity aromas featuring broom and white flowers alongside hints of yellow peach and tropical fruit. The palate reveals delicate citrus notes, aromatic herbs, and Mediterranean scrubland against a distinctive mineral background from the volcanic terroir. Fresh and elegant with rich taste and a decisive, long finish marked by mineral salts and volcanic stone.
Food Pairings
Seafood antipasti, grilled fish with herbs, fresh mozzarella and tomatoes, pasta with clams
