Laurent-Perrier sparked the revival of non-vintage rosé Champagne in 1968 despite the opinion of other producers that non-vintage rosés were not to be taken seriously. Today, Laurent Perrier's iconic Cuvée Rosé remains the benchmark for non-vintage rosé champagne. This rose champagne is the result of a very technical production method: maceration. In this vat, the juice macerates with the grape skins for 48 to 72 hours in order to bring out the aromatic expression of the best Pinot Noir crus. Revered by wine-lovers for its flavours and by aesthetes for the beauty of its magnum 17th century-style bottle dating back to Henry V.

Tasting Notes

A bright pink hue, the NV Champagne Cuvee Rose Brut is expressive with a great nose, leading with ripe raspberries, candied citrus, delicate flint, and fresh roses. Medium-bodied, it's fruity and balanced, with a refreshing spine of acidity and a fluffy and fine mousse. It's fine and delicate, though it has a structured feel. The nose is precise and very crisp with a lasting impression of freshness, it has hints of soft red fruits, such as strawberries, redcurrants, raspberries and black cherries. Intensely fruity flavours begin clean and well-defined upon entry, the wine then opens up to provide a melange of flavours consisting of fresh strawberries, raspberries and wild cherries. It has great length and is rounded and supple on the finish.
