Established in 1812, Champagne Laurent-Perrier has a long tradition of innovation in Champagne and was among the first to introduce stainless steel fermentation tanks in the 1950s and sparked the revival of non-vintage rosé Champagne in 1968. Today, Laurent Perrier's iconic Cuvée Rosé remains the benchmark for non-vintage rosé champagne. A symbol of a daring family-owned champagne house, this prestigious Cuvée Rosé was born at the dawn of the 1968 vintage and has been widely acknowledged for its consistent high quality and iconic bottle shape.
Tasting Notes
A bright pink hue, this NV Champagne Cuvée Rosé Brut is expressive with a great nose, leading with ripe raspberries, candied citrus, delicate flint, and fresh roses. Medium-bodied, it's fruity and balanced, with a refreshing spine of acidity and a fluffy and fine mousse that's fine and delicate, though it has a structured feel. The wine bursts from the glass with notes of smoky red berry fruit, apples, blood orange, pomegranate and warm biscuits, medium to full-bodied and broad with a delicate mousse and ripe acids. The finish is supple and long.
