Eden Rift, Pinot Noir 'Estate' 2022 Cienega Valley, California

Eden Rift is the oldest continuously producing estate vineyard in California, planted in 1849 and located just 20 miles from the Monterey Bay. Current proprietor Christian Pillsbury acquired the estate in 2016, working alongside renowned winemaker Cory Waller to restore the property's legacy of exceptional Pinot Noir.

Tasting Notes

Aromas of red cherries, wild strawberries, dried roses, spices and crushed stones. The palate is medium-bodied with silky tannins, bright acidity and a rounded mouthfeel. Balanced, with an earthy undertone. The 2022 'Estate' Pinot Noir offers toasty oak alongside rich red currants, tobacco leaf and suggestions of cola. Rich and layered with a smooth mouthfeel.
